This breeding programme is registered with Waratah National Cat Alliance (WNCA). see link below
WNCA
METHOD
The outcross silver foundation queen for this programme is a very beautiful silver 'marble' female of unknown ancestry named White Tiger.
This cat has many desirable qualities and I believe is highly suitable for the purpose of adding the silver gene into my Silver Bengal programme.
She is not far removed from Bengal type and she is a quality silver with no tarnishing and very beautiful, clear green eyes. Her markings are extraordinary and exhibit a hollowed out and edged marble pattern as well as large rosettes on her hind quarters.
She has excellent conformation, temperament and health and a very strong immune system / constitution. Her coat is fine, shiny and very soft. She has a long body and tail and puffy whisker pads.
She is also a very strong and fertile breeder - always producing numerous, large, healthy, beautiful kittens and no birthing problems.
'White Tiger'
Each stud bred to White Tiger is of a different colour and pedigree, hence this will provide a reasonably large gene pool to begin with as well as produce silver kittens in both spotted and marbled patterns.
The best silver kittens will be selected to breed on with.
Generations 1, 2 and 3 are classified in the new breed/colour category - both for registration purposes and for exhibiting at WNCA shows. The 4th generation is classified as full Bengal status and is exhibited in the normal classes and can attain championship titles.
WNCA in Australia and TICA (International Cat Organisation) fully recognise the beautiful silver Bengal.
