7 November 2006 -
The These Ties album will not have an Australian release. According to Amiel's newly launched official website: "...the album got lost in the buyout of her label, Festival Mushroom, by Warners late last year. After a few false starts when its release was rescheduled, the artist herself asked for the album to be shelved."

27 October 2006 -
The Be Your Girl EP is now scheduled for release on 4 November.

2 October 2006 -
The Bass Kleph remix of Amiel's Be Your Girl will be released on 23 October. As well as Be Your Girl the single will also contain remixes of Expectations, Under Your Spell, Following The Sun and Moving On. The video can be viewed at Warner Music Australia.

A recent report on Australia's morning TV show, Today stated that "we can expect a new studio album from her in the New Year".

20 June 2006 -
Bass Kleph has done a remix of Amiel's 'Be Your Girl' for the recently released In The Mix Is Six compilation. More info at Bass Kleph's website.

13 June 2006 -
Still no word on an Australian release for These Ties but another album featuring Amiel has come to my attention. Josh Abrahams composed the soundtrack for the 2003 feature film, One Last Ride and has produced an album of the same name, using the group name Harmonic. Amiel contributes lead vocals and co-wrote the track, Easy. You can hear a sound sample of Easy at the Just Managing or Termidor sites.

19 March 2006 -
The joining of Festival Mushroom Records with Warner Music has delayed the Australian release of These Ties still further. Warner Music is yet to announce a release date for the album.
