Datsun 280ZX sports cars

I originally bought the red 1979 Datsun 280ZX to restore.
This has many good parts, but the body had too much rust to make it viable for a restore. The engine and transmission appear to be in quite good condition. It has a stainless steel hotdog type muffler that has a really nice note to it. Most bits and pieces are there, and the dash has cracks but is good for restoration. I installed a new water pump when I first parked it under my house.

I bought the blue 1981 Datsun 280ZX for the body as it has much less rust. Once I stripped it I found that it had accident damage to the right rear and the left front. The red Datsun is quite good in these areas so would be good as a donor. The seats have sun damage but are structurally sound (the red car has better seats). Between the two cars I am sure that a good restoration can be made as most parts are there and any parts that are questionable on one are generally better on the other. I paid over $1900 for both cars and I would like to get at least $1500 for the both. They are worth much more than this in parts.

Go Kart

This go kart has a 80cc Yamaha motorbike engine and 4 speed manual gearbox. This kart was built up from a JP Sprinter race kart frame and running gear and meticulously restored using the good engine and transmission. It has a rear disc brake, sports steering wheel, and fibreglass racing seat. It has the proper alloy wheels and slick racing tyres. Due to the really low first gear it is ideal for a small child to use as it can idle along quite strongly without stalling. The frame was professionally modified to fit the motorbike engine but could easily be converted back into a race kart at a later date.
Very good condition and well worth the $850 asking price. Comes with some spares.
Also has the original race side pods, front pod, nassau panel, etc
This kart has only been driven around my backyard for less than 30 laps and is still on the original tank of fuel!!

Wrecking: 1988 Ford Laser Ghia 5 door hatchback

This car was written off in a collision with cement curbing to the drivers side front wheel.

Parts removed (or unusable):

Engine (but the EFI system remains)
Starter and alternator
Front d.s. headlight and blinker and grill damaged, as well as suspension on that corner.
Front d.s. mudguard (damaged)
Most interior seating/panels have been removed, but some GL stuff is there instead.
Handbrake cables
Rear disk calipers
Driveshafts
Windsreen (crack lower r.h. corner)

Parts available:

EFI system and computer (not distributor)
Battery (new not long before accident)
Radiator (new just before accident)
Instrument cluster is good
All doors are good, hatch is good. Bonnet is easily repairable.
Passenger front guard in GC
Tail lights are good
5 speed gearbox and clutch in good condition
Steering (was good, but condition now unknown)
Front calipers (should be ok)

Dual Keyboard Electronic Organ

This electronic organ has two keyboards and plenty of pedals, buttons and knobs. It has a large speaker that gives rich deep tones. There are some keys on the top keyboard that are intermittant, but bottom keyboard works well. This would be an ideal organ for someone to learn on, and I suspect that the top keyboard would be easily repaired if needed. Otherwise a cheap buy at $20.

Whites MXT E-series Metal Detector

This is the real McCoy. It is a proper metal detector with a digital LCD display. It can be used for detecting metals (gold, iron, etc), as well as relics and coins. It has an inbuilt speaker and uses high-tech discrimination circuitry, and automatic ground balancing. It retails for over $2200. I have the original carry box, coil protector, and digging tools.

Notice that they are listed as $2295 new!!! This is reluctantly for sale at $1100 ono and is in very good condition.

Alloy Wheels and Low profile tyres

PCW 5 spoke silver painted alloy wheels. I bought these wheels on eBay but they don't suit my car. They are believed to be off a Hyundai Excel, but stick out too far on my Laser. The wheels are in very good condition, only one of them has mild gutter rash on it. Two tyres were in reasonable usable condition when I bought them, and the other two were replaced with brand new tyres.

The two new tyres have barely been used and are well balance and run true. They are 14" and PCD of 114mm (Hyundai bolt pattern, also suits other cars but you would need flares if used on earlier Ford Lasers).
The wheels are PCW brand and the tyres are Bridgestone 185/60R14 G-grid.
2x tyres are at ~40%, 2x at 99% (over $100 each new, fitted and balanced).
I consider these wheels to be in very good condition. $400 no offers.
Will include an extra tyre (at ~40%).

Fog machine and Fog Juice

I bought this machine just for a bit of fun. It works extremely well at producing fog. This machine is in as new condition and I have used less than 1 bottle of fog juice. This machine cost $110 new (with the juice).

Alpine TDM-7574E FM/AM Cassette Receiver

Alpine TDM-7574E Alpine is recognised as one of the best car audio manufacturers in the world. I have available the Alpine TDM-7574E FM/AM Cassette receiver unit. It is in very good condition and has had very limited use from new. One thing that I have noted is that it has very good reception in weak signal areas.

BubbleGum Machine

I reluctantly have for sale an old fashioned collectable coin operated bubblegum machine. This is the type that we used to see in Fish n Chip shops years ago. Coin operated (but doesn't have to be). This machine is complete with the very rare cast iron pedestal. Spare parts also provided.
