Subject: Ignition Replacement - RUBBER MOULD DASH

There are a couple of potential hazards with just peeling off the dash.

1. don't forget the little speedo knob. Just unscrew it out so it doesn't get broken.

2. If you do peel it off there is a metal ring moulded into the underside of the dash that holds the ignition switch. This will be torn out of the rubber. Can be glued back in with a bit of swearing and facial contortions.

3. Don't pull too hard as the indicator lamps are held in place. Pull too hard and you might snap a wire.

4. The plastic instrument holder under neath the dash being held on with a couple of bolts has a tendency to break around the bolts. If there is any cracking it would be a good time for a repair and reinforcement. Beyond these it is all doable. It is more fun prying the thing back on around the instruments.
