This year was our 15th Annual Australian Open Championship & 11th Australian Open Desexed Companion Cat Show.  Our judges came from New Zealand (a first for our club), NSW and Queensland - all are very experienced judges and most have been with us before.  We were hoping that 2005 will, once again, be a great show for all exhibitors and the general public - we were correct on this and the public support the Klub received locally was wonderful.  Our exhibitors, we hope, enjoyed themselves and we hope that everyone enjoyed the prizes and trophies given out on the day.

The show was held on Saturday, 20 August, 2005 at the Kempsey Showground, Sea Street, West Kempsey - plenty of parking at this venue and also refreshments will be served by the Girl Guides, who have helped out with the catering for our club for several years.  Ladies, we thank you so much for your continued support!

Please, if you would like to show with us again in 2006, enter early and make sure you have your accommodation booked because Kempsey is in the middle of the Holiday Coast of NSW and many events are scheduled during the year - making accommodation difficult to find.  

Our new show date is Saturday, 11 March, 2006, which makes us the first Allbreeds show in NSW and our 16th show - we had to think on this situation but came to realise that as it is earlier in the year, it could bring many good things for all.  At least it will be warmer and is also Daylight Saving Time, so hopefully - no travelling home in the cold and dark.

We are working on the 2006 Show and will be putting our show schedule together as soon as humanly possible - most definitely before Christmas (must I remind everyone of that ??? :( .... ) - as we'd like to see another good entry up here on the Mid North Coast of NSW.  

We are hoping the schedule will soon be available after approval - hopefully in the next few weeks.  Please contact us for a schedule if you wish to attend the show in March - all exhibitors from this year (2005) will be posted a schedule as soon as possible (and - please - don't lose them!  :D ) - we are also hoping to have them available at the last shows for 2005 and of course, they will be available after the show season closes!  Our closing date next year will be 11th February, 2006 - we are still getting used to the idea of a show in March!  :)
