Jackie Curran is a qualified and experienced mediator and arbitrator with experience in resolving commercial, family, medical, aged care and neighbourhood disputes. She has more than 20 years experience as a lawyer, having worked in commercial law, family law, criminal law, wills and estates, litigation and all types of court matters. She spent 5 years working in Australia's first legal service for aboriginal victims of family violence. Jackie also spent 4 years working as a volunteer telephone counsellor for Lifeline Midcoast and was later a trainer for Lifeline. She is currently an Arbitrator for the New South Wales Workers Compensation Commission and conducts conciliations and arbitrations in workplace injury disputes.
Jackie provides mediation and conflict coaching, and is on many mediation panels for government organizations in NSW. She is a group trainer with experience in conducting training programs for counsellors and workplaces.
Jackie's latest and greatest passion is Laughter !! She is a laughter yoga teacher and runs regular laughter yoga classes in North Sydney and the Sydney CBD.
