Don’t pity me

For my loss or agony

Give me your courage

To rebuild myself.

Don’t ignore me

With your speechless moments

Listen when I can talk

And hear my words.

Don’t give me your time

And when you are afraid take it away

Stand with me in the dark

And we can hold on together.

Don’t think I cannot love

That my pain will never heal

Love bears all, endures all

Please be patient.

Don’t try to understand

You can’t and won’t

There are no wounds to see

& I don’t want you in my nightmares.

Be confident

I am alive

Be proud

I am a survivor

Have hope

I still love you.
